Yard rescue for Paweł, 82: fallen trees and overgrown beds
Paweł, 82, can no longer manage the yard after a storm; we are looking for helpers with chainsaws and rakes.

I'm 82 and I have lived in this house in Birmingham for 29 years. After the storm in July, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of a recent fall.
The council has told me it will be twelve weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: a small team to cut, stack and carry away branches. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
Thanks for being kind about this.

Thinking of you, Paweł. Hope the treatment goes smoothly and recovery is quick. My colleague had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Take care
