Yard rescue for Paisley, 90: fallen trees and overgrown beds
Fallen branches and overgrowth are blocking Paisley's path; a few hours of help would make a big difference.

I'm 90 and I have lived in this house in Gatineau for 44 years. After the storm in August, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of a recent fall.
The council has told me it will be eight weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: two people with loppers and a wheelbarrow. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
Thanks for being kind about this.

Stay strong, Paisley. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Don't be hard on yourself for asking.
