Yard rescue for Óscar, 72: fallen trees and overgrown beds
Óscar, 72, can no longer manage the yard after a storm; we're looking for helpers with chainsaws and rakes.

I'm 72 and I have lived in this house in Alcalá de Henares for 35 years. After the storm in July, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of a heart condition.
The council has told me it will be ten weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: a small team to cut, stack and carry away branches. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
Thanks for being kind about this.

hope things get better soon, Óscar. Hope the treatment goes smoothly and recovery is quick. I have a 5 year old who wants to send good wishes too
Best of luck, Óscar. This could happen to any of us. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend.
Good luck. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Love from Reims.
take care. Shared it with a few friends. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too
I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. Greetings from Guadalajara.
