Yard rescue for Neil, 71: fallen trees and overgrown beds
Neil, 71, can no longer manage the yard after a storm; we're looking for helpers with chainsaws and rakes.

I'm 71 and I have lived in this house in Quezon City for 49 years. After the storm in July, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of a heart condition.
The council has told me it will be eight weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: a small team to cut, stack and carry away branches. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

You're not alone, Neil. Your post was clear and honest. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day.
Wishing you the best, Neil. Shared this with my family. After 13 years in retail I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Thinking of Quezon City.
You're not alone, Neil. Wishing Neil a smooth procedure and a full recovery. Sent it to 28 people at work. Blessings
