Yard rescue for Nathan, 82: fallen trees and overgrown beds
Fallen branches and overgrowth are blocking Nathan's path; a few hours of help would make a big difference.

I'm 82 and I have lived in this house in Brisbane for 46 years. After the storm in August, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of poor eyesight.
The council has told me it will be six weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: someone with a chainsaw, plus a few people with rakes and gloves. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Hope things get better soon, Nathan. Shared it with a few friends. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double.
wishing you the best. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Blessings
hang in there, Nathan. Hope this works out for you. After 10 years in retail I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Thinking of Brisbane
Praying for you, Nathan. Wishing Nathan a smooth procedure and a full recovery. Wish I lived closer to Siliguri so I could bring a meal
so sorry you're going through this. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend
