Yard rescue for Misaki, 74: fallen trees and overgrown beds
Misaki, 74, can no longer manage the yard after a storm; we're looking for helpers with chainsaws and rakes.

I'm 74 and I have lived in this house in Setagaya for 43 years. After the storm in May, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of arthritis.
The council has told me it will be ten weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: two people with loppers and a wheelbarrow. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

You're not alone. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Love from Durham.
This could happen to any of us. Thinking of Setagaya.
Sending strength, Misaki. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did
Keep going. Hope the doctors have good news. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. Blessings
Sending love, Misaki. Hope you get there.
Rooting for you. Your post was clear and honest. My sister had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. All the best.
