Fallen branches and overgrowth are blocking Melanie's path; a few hours of help would make a big difference.

I'm 87 and I have lived in this house in San Jose for 42 years. After the storm in April, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of poor eyesight. The council has told me it will be twelve weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner. Help needed: two people with loppers and a wheelbarrow. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do. Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

  • Take care, Melanie. Shared it with a few friends. Blessings.

    • Good luck. Hope you get there. I'm in logistics myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. Thinking of San Jose

      • Good luck. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Wish I lived closer to Zapopan so I could bring a meal. God bless
