Maurício, 79, can no longer manage the yard after a storm; we're looking for helpers with chainsaws and rakes.

I'm 79 and I have lived in this house in Belém for 22 years. After the storm in July, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of poor eyesight.
The council has told me it will be ten weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: a small team to cut, stack and carry away branches. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

Wishing you peace. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. My mother had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Blessings.
Take care, Maurício. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. My husband and I read this together.
