Yard rescue for Luiz, 91: fallen trees and overgrown beds
Luiz, 91, can no longer manage the yard after a storm; we're looking for helpers with chainsaws and rakes.

I'm 91 and I have lived in this house in Belo Horizonte for 30 years. After the storm in June, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of a recent fall.
The council has told me it will be ten weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: a small team to cut, stack and carry away branches. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

Looking forward to the next update. Greetings from New Orleans.
Shared this with my family. I'm in social work myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. Take care.
Good luck, Luiz. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did
