Yard rescue for Kioko, 87: fallen trees and overgrown beds
Fallen branches and overgrowth are blocking Kioko's path; a few hours of help would make a big difference.

I'm 87 and I have lived in this house in Embakasi for 44 years. After the storm in November, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of poor eyesight.
The council has told me it will be six weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: a small team to cut, stack and carry away branches. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
Thank you for reading my story.

so sorry you're going through this, Kioko. Shared it with a few friends. Please keep us posted. God bless.
I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Thinking of Embakasi
wishing Kioko a smooth procedure and a full recovery. Take care.
This could happen to any of us. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Love from Recife.
Keep going. Hope the doctors have good news. Thinking of Embakasi.
