Fallen branches and overgrowth are blocking Karin's path; a few hours of help would make a big difference.

I'm 86 and I have lived in this house in Stuttgart for 20 years. After the storm in February, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of arthritis. The council has told me it will be eight weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner. Help needed: two people with loppers and a wheelbarrow. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do. Thank you so much.

Hope things get better soon, Karin. Your post was clear and honest. I'm in logistics myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. All the best.

        • Thinking of you and your family. Hope the doctors have good news. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Thinking of Stuttgart.
