Yard rescue for João, 85: fallen trees and overgrown beds
Fallen branches and overgrowth are blocking João's path; a few hours of help would make a big difference.

I'm 85 and I have lived in this house in Caxias do Sul for 30 years. After the storm in August, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of a heart condition.
The council has told me it will be six weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: someone with a chainsaw, plus a few people with rakes and gloves. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
Glad we found this place.

Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. I hope October is when things finally get easier. Blessings
