Yard rescue for Jayanthi, 87: fallen trees and overgrown beds
Jayanthi, 87, can no longer manage the yard after a storm; we're looking for helpers with chainsaws and rakes.

I'm 87 and I have lived in this house in Jalandhar for 47 years. After the storm in March, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of my hip replacement.
The council has told me it will be ten weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: someone with a chainsaw, plus a few people with rakes and gloves. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

Rooting for you, Jayanthi. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. After 17 years in engineering I know how hard it's to ask for anything
Sending strength, Jayanthi. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Please keep us posted. Take care.
