Yard rescue for Ikenna, 75: fallen trees and overgrown beds
Garden rescue day in Enugu: bring gloves and a rake.
🇳🇬 Enugu, Enugu, Nigeria1,460 views
I'm 75 and I have lived in this house in Enugu for 49 years. After the storm in September, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of arthritis.
The council has told me it will be ten weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: someone with a chainsaw, plus a few people with rakes and gloves. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

So sorry you're going through this, Ikenna. Hope the doctors have good news. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Love from Edinburgh.
Thinking of you, Ikenna. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. All the best
Hope it all works out, Ikenna. Wishing Ikenna a smooth procedure and a full recovery. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected
