Yard rescue for Gianna, 88: fallen trees and overgrown beds
Garden rescue day in Pasig: bring gloves and a rake.
🇵🇭 Pasig, Metro Manila, Philippines1,374 views
I'm 88 and I have lived in this house in Pasig for 35 years. After the storm in August, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of my hip replacement.
The council has told me it will be ten weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: a small team to cut, stack and carry away branches. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
Thank you for reading my story.

Sending love, Gianna. Hope the treatment goes smoothly and recovery is quick. I'm in engineering myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. All the best.
Sending love, Gianna. Wishing Gianna a smooth procedure and a full recovery. Wish I lived closer to San Miguel de Tucumán so I could bring a meal. All the best.
It takes guts to ask. Well done. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. Greetings from Melbourne.
Stay strong, Gianna. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Put this on a community board in Rawalpindi this morning. Love from Rawalpindi
So sorry you're going through this, Gianna. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Thinking of Pasig.
