Yard rescue for Dumisani, 74: fallen trees and overgrown beds
Fallen branches and overgrowth are blocking Dumisani's path; a few hours of help would make a big difference.

I'm 74 and I have lived in this house in Cape Town for 29 years. After the storm in March, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of poor eyesight.
The council has told me it will be six weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: two people with loppers and a wheelbarrow. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

It takes guts to ask. Well done. My neighbor in Narayanganj donated after I showed her your page. God bless.
thinking of you. Hope this works out for you. We're a small family in Cairo but we're thinking of you. Thinking of Cape Town.
best of luck, Dumisani. Hope the treatment goes smoothly and recovery is quick. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double
Sending good thoughts, Dumisani. I hope things turn around soon. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. Blessings!
