Yard rescue for Cynthia, 87: fallen trees and overgrown beds
Cynthia, 87, can no longer manage the yard after a storm; we are looking for helpers with chainsaws and rakes.

I'm 87 and I have lived in this house in Orlando for 34 years. After the storm in February, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of my hip replacement.
The council has told me it will be eight weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: someone with a chainsaw, plus a few people with rakes and gloves. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
Thanks for being kind about this.

thinking of you and your family. Hope you get there. Don't be hard on yourself for asking.
Hope things get better soon. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. It's not much but it's yours. Blessings
Rooting for you. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. Love from San Cristóbal de las Casas.
take care, Cynthia. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Greetings from Shubra.
This could happen to any of us. Thinking of Orlando.
