Clément, 88, can no longer manage the yard after a storm; we're looking for helpers with chainsaws and rakes.

I'm 88 and I have lived in this house in Montpellier for 42 years. After the storm in August, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of a recent fall.
The council has told me it will be eight weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: someone with a chainsaw, plus a few people with rakes and gloves. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. I went through something like this 6 years ago and strangers helped me out
Hang in there. Looking forward to the next update. I hope December is when things finally get easier. God bless.
