Yard rescue for Chiara, 81: fallen trees and overgrown beds
Fallen branches and overgrowth are blocking Chiara's path; a few hours of help would make a big difference.

I'm 81 and I have lived in this house in Turin for 41 years. After the storm in May, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of poor eyesight.
The council has told me it will be eight weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: someone with a chainsaw, plus a few people with rakes and gloves. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Hope it all works out. Hope you get there. Wish I lived closer to San Francisco so I could bring a meal. Thinking of Turin.
