Yard rescue for Brooks, 75: fallen trees and overgrown beds
Garden rescue day in Miami: bring gloves and a rake.

I'm 75 and I have lived in this house in Miami for 28 years. After the storm in September, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of a heart condition.
The council has told me it will be eight weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: a small team to cut, stack and carry away branches. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

Stay strong, Brooks. I hope things turn around soon. Please keep us posted. God bless
Thinking of you, Brooks. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. My husband and I read this together
So sorry you're going through this, Brooks. Your post was clear and honest. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Blessings.
Sending love. Hope this works out for you. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Blessings.
