Yard rescue for Barış, 77: fallen trees and overgrown beds
Barış, 77, can no longer manage the yard after a storm; we're looking for helpers with chainsaws and rakes.

I'm 77 and I have lived in this house in Kadıköy for 21 years. After the storm in August, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of arthritis.
The council has told me it will be ten weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: two people with loppers and a wheelbarrow. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
Thank you so much.

Stay strong, Barış. Your post was clear and honest. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like.
You're not alone. Hope the treatment goes smoothly and recovery is quick. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Thinking of Kadıköy
Hope things get better soon, Barış. Wishing Barış a smooth procedure and a full recovery. I'm in public service myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. God bless.
Wishing you the best, Barış. Shared it with a few friends.
Sending strength. Hope you get there. Blessings
