Yard rescue for Auma, 84: fallen trees and overgrown beds
Auma, 84, can no longer manage the yard after a storm; we're looking for helpers with chainsaws and rakes.

I'm 84 and I have lived in this house in Mbale for 20 years. After the storm in July, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of arthritis.
The council has told me it will be ten weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: someone with a chainsaw, plus a few people with rakes and gloves. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Hope it all works out, Auma. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes
praying for you. Hope the treatment goes smoothly and recovery is quick. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like.
Praying for you, Auma. Hope this works out for you. Put this on a community board in Cairo this morning. Thinking of Mbale.
