Yanti can't leave home - help build a ramp
Materials are donated. We need two carpenters and a helper for a weekend in Malang.

Yanti has used a wheelchair since 2024, and the house has three steps at the front door and no ramp. At the moment Yanti can only go outside when two neighbors are available to lift the chair.
The materials (treated timber, screws and non-slip surface) have been donated by a local lumberyard. We need a carpenter or two to measure, cut and build, plus a helper or two.
The ramp has to meet the accessibility guideline for gradient, which is why a person with building experience is important. We estimate ten hours of work.
Tools are welcome - saws, drills, spirit levels. We'll provide refreshments, and Yanti's family will cook lunch for the team.
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Hope it all works out. It takes guts to ask. Well done. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust
You're not alone, Hesti. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. I have a 16 year old who wants to send good wishes too. All the best.
