I'm Yann, 17, in Grade 12. My parents work long hours and didn't go to university, so there's no one at home who can help me understand applications, deadlines or financial aid. I'd like to study biomedical science.
I have a 3.7 average, I volunteer at my church youth group and I have a draft of my personal statement. What I need is someone to read my essays, tell me honestly what's weak, and explain how scholarships work.
I'm looking for an hour a week until January. We can do it by video from anywhere. My mother will be at home during every call, and the school counselor knows about this request.
Thanks for reading. It took me a long time to ask.
Thank you for reading my story.

Thinking of you and your family, Yann. Hope this works out for you. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust.
Keep going, Yann. Hope you get there. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double.
Praying for you, Yann. Shared it with a few friends.
Sending love, Yann. As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. It's not much but it's yours.
stay strong, Yann. Study hard! Greetings from Łódź!
