Yakubu can't leave home - help build a ramp
Materials are donated. We need two carpenters and a helper for a weekend in Lagos.

Yakubu has used a wheelchair since 2025, and the house has three steps at the front door and no ramp. At the moment Yakubu can only go outside when two neighbors are available to lift the chair.
The materials (treated timber, screws and non-slip surface) have been donated by a local lumberyard. We need a carpenter or two to measure, cut and build, plus a helper or two.
The ramp has to meet the accessibility guideline for gradient, which is why a person with building experience is important. We estimate six hours of work.
Tools are welcome - saws, drills, spirit levels. We'll provide refreshments, and Yakubu's family will cook lunch for the team.
Thanks for being kind about this.

Keep going. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. We're a small family in Hamburg but we're thinking of you.
thinking of you, Favour. Your post was clear and honest. I went through something like this 12 years ago and strangers helped me out. Take care.
Good luck. Gave what I could, wish it was more. I have a 7 year old who wants to send good wishes too. God bless!
hope it all works out, Favour. Shared it with a few friends.
