Work-ready: help Samantha get a sewing machine
Samantha has a job offer starting in three weeks but needs a sewing machine to get there or do the work.

I have been offered a job as a data-entry clerk in Birmingham, starting in three weeks. The job requires a sewing machine, and I can't afford one. I have been unemployed for 8 weeks.
A new or used one is welcome. If you have one sitting unused, That would really help.
I'm a hard worker, with four references available. I can collect the item anywhere within 16 km of Birmingham.
I'll take great care of it, and I'll return the favor by helping the next person in the same situation.
I can arrange my own transport; please just let me know it's available.
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

Thinking of you, Samantha. Your post was clear and honest. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Take care.
