Work-ready: help Regina get a pair of safety boots and a hi-vis vest

I have been offered a job as a delivery rider in Los Angeles, starting in three weeks. The job requires a pair of safety boots and a hi-vis vest, and I can't afford one. I have been unemployed for 7 weeks. A new or used one is welcome. If you have one sitting unused, That would really help. I'm a hard worker, with four references available. I can collect the item anywhere within 30 km of Los Angeles. I'll take great care of it, and I'll return the favor by helping the next person in the same situation. I can arrange my own transport; please just let me know it's available. I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
