I coordinate donations at Baobab Refugee Centre in Wudil. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes 4-12. If you're in Wudil, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at Baobab Refugee Centre on Saturday between 10am and 3pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the Baobab Refugee Centre clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

Take care. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Thinking of Wudil
Thanks for sharing this. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Take care.
Wishing you the best. Shared this with my family. I'm in logistics myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. Blessings
Hope you get there. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Greetings from Celaya
Sending good thoughts, Emeka. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. My mother had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. God bless
Good luck. A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Take care.
Hang in there, Emeka. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Please keep us posted. Love from Rajshahi
