I coordinate donations at the Sycamore Mosque in Quezon City. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled. We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes 4-12. If you're in Quezon City, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Sycamore Mosque on Wednesday between 11am and 3pm. If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate. Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Sycamore Mosque clothing bank, which is open to everyone. I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

  • Thinking of you and your family. Hope this works out for you. Love from Kansas City.

    • Wishing you the best. Shared this with my family. My sister had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Take care.

      • Hope it all works out, Kathleen. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected.
