I coordinate donations at the Lotus Mosque in San Jose. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled. We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes kids' 3 to 5 and women's S-L. If you're in San Jose, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Lotus Mosque on Thursday between 9am and 3pm. If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate. Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Lotus Mosque clothing bank, which is open to everyone. Thanks for being kind about this.

        • keep going. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. I'll check back for the next update. Greetings from Guarulhos.

          • Rooting for you, Kylie. Shared it with a few friends. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Blessings
