Winter coats and boots for 40 children at the Maple Mosque in Akron
A simple way to help: donate warm clothing for kids at the Maple Mosque.

I coordinate donations at the Maple Mosque in Akron. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes 4-12. If you're in Akron, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Maple Mosque on Monday between 11am and 2pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Maple Mosque clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

Your post was clear and honest. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Thinking of Akron.
Sending love. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Love from Üsküdar
Hope things get better soon, Jorge. Shared it with a few friends. Blessings!
Stay strong. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust
