A simple way to help: donate warm clothing for kids at Lotus Refugee Centre.

I coordinate donations at Lotus Refugee Centre in Augsburg. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes 2 to 14 years. If you're in Augsburg, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at Lotus Refugee Centre on Tuesday between 10am and 2pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the Lotus Refugee Centre clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
Glad we found this place.

I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. Wish I lived closer to Glasgow so I could bring a meal. Blessings.
Rooting for you, Laura. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Take care
sending good thoughts, Laura. Hope you get there. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Take care
