I coordinate donations at Liberty Refugee Centre in Nsukka. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled. We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes 2 to 14 years. If you're in Nsukka, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at Liberty Refugee Centre on Friday between 10am and 3pm. If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate. Items go to families directly and the rest to the Liberty Refugee Centre clothing bank, which is open to everyone. Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

      • Praying for you, Temitope. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. Thinking of Nsukka

        • hope things get better soon, Temitope. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Greetings from Los Angeles.
