Winter coats and boots for 39 children at the Unity Community Church in Duque de Caxias

I coordinate donations at the Unity Community Church in Duque de Caxias. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled. We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes toddler through teen. If you're in Duque de Caxias, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Unity Community Church on Tuesday between 9am and 2pm. If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate. Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Unity Community Church clothing bank, which is open to everyone. I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
