Winter coats and boots for 38 children at the Acacia Family Centre in New York
A simple way to help: donate warm clothing for kids at the Acacia Family Centre.

I coordinate donations at the Acacia Family Centre in New York. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes 2 to 14 years. If you're in New York, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Acacia Family Centre on Saturday between 10am and 3pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Acacia Family Centre clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
Thank you for reading my story.

Sending love, Gianna. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. Put this on a community board in Kolkata this morning. Love from Kolkata.
