I coordinate donations at the Maple Mosque in Kanpur. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled. We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes 2 to 14 years. If you're in Kanpur, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Maple Mosque on Thursday between 9am and 4pm. If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate. Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Maple Mosque clothing bank, which is open to everyone. I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

    Exceptional service

I was going through a tough time and this person's support was invaluable. They didn't judge, just helped. That kind of genuine compassion is rare these days.

    Amazing support system

This helper is honest and transparent about what they can do. They didn't overpromise, but they did deliver excellent results. I would definitely trust them again.

I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. God bless

    • Take care. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day
