A simple way to help: donate warm clothing for kids at the Maple Community Church.

I coordinate donations at the Maple Community Church in Stuttgart. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes kids' 3 to 5 and women's S-L. If you're in Stuttgart, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Maple Community Church on Friday between 10am and 2pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Maple Community Church clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. I hope September is when things finally get easier. God bless
Stay strong. A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Take care.
Hope this works out for you. Sent it to 6 people at work. God bless.
best of luck, Matthias. Your post was clear and honest. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. All the best.
Keep going. Gave what I could, wish it was more. I went through something like this 5 years ago and strangers helped me out.
