I coordinate donations at the Unity Community Church in Gazipur. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes toddler through teen. If you're in Gazipur, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Unity Community Church on Sunday between 11am and 2pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Unity Community Church clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

thinking of you and your family. Your post was clear and honest. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust.
Thanks for sharing this, Shahana. I hope things turn around soon.
Take care, Shahana. This could happen to any of us. I'll check back for the next update. Blessings
This could happen to any of us. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Greetings from Arlington.
Thinking of you. Rent stress is the worst. Hope this helps. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like.
