Winter coats and boots for 36 children at Maple Refugee Centre in Kingston
A simple way to help: donate warm clothing for kids at Maple Refugee Centre.
🇯🇲 Kingston, Kingston, Jamaica750 views
I coordinate donations at Maple Refugee Centre in Kingston. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes toddler through teen. If you're in Kingston, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at Maple Refugee Centre on Thursday between 9am and 4pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the Maple Refugee Centre clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.
