I coordinate donations at Jacaranda Refugee Centre in Bristol. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled. We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes toddler through teen. If you're in Bristol, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at Jacaranda Refugee Centre on Sunday between 11am and 3pm. If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate. Items go to families directly and the rest to the Jacaranda Refugee Centre clothing bank, which is open to everyone. Thank you so much.

          • Take care, Rahima. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money.
