Spanish Town
I coordinate donations at Pioneer Women's Shelter in Spanish Town. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled. We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes toddler through teen. If you're in Spanish Town, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at Pioneer Women's Shelter on Wednesday between 10am and 2pm. If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate. Items go to families directly and the rest to the Pioneer Women's Shelter clothing bank, which is open to everyone. Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

  • Sending good thoughts, Delroy. It takes guts to ask. Well done

    • A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. Thinking of Spanish Town.

      • Sending love, Delroy. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Love from Recife.
