Nnewi
I coordinate donations at Liberty Refugee Centre in Nnewi. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled. We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes 4-12. If you're in Nnewi, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at Liberty Refugee Centre on Saturday between 11am and 4pm. If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate. Items go to families directly and the rest to the Liberty Refugee Centre clothing bank, which is open to everyone. Glad we found this place.
