I coordinate donations at the Jacaranda Community Church in Piraeus. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes kids' 3 to 5 and women's S-L. If you're in Piraeus, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Jacaranda Community Church on Monday between 9am and 2pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Jacaranda Community Church clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Sending strength, Athanasios. I hope things turn around soon. Thinking of Piraeus.
You're not alone, Athanasios. I hope things turn around soon. Don't be hard on yourself for asking.
this could happen to any of us. I went through something like this 12 years ago and strangers helped me out. Greetings from Thiruvananthapuram.
Thinking of you and your family. Shared this with my family. My husband and I read this together.
Best of luck, Athanasios. I hope things turn around soon. We're a small family in Haarlem but we're thinking of you. All the best.
