Winter coats and boots for 28 children at the Union Community Church in Worcester
A simple way to help: donate warm clothing for kids at the Union Community Church.
🇺🇸 Worcester, Massachusetts, United States714 views
I coordinate donations at the Union Community Church in Worcester. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes 2 to 14 years. If you're in Worcester, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Union Community Church on Wednesday between 11am and 4pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Union Community Church clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
