I coordinate donations at the Harmony Mosque in Medina. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled. We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes toddler through teen. If you're in Medina, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Harmony Mosque on Wednesday between 11am and 4pm. If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate. Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Harmony Mosque clothing bank, which is open to everyone. Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

  • take care, Farah. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. It's not much but it's yours. Thinking of Medina.

    • So sorry you're going through this, Farah. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. All the best.
