Winter coats and boots for 28 children at Cedar Refugee Centre in Duque de Caxias

I coordinate donations at Cedar Refugee Centre in Duque de Caxias. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled. We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes toddler through teen. If you're in Duque de Caxias, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at Cedar Refugee Centre on Sunday between 10am and 3pm. If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate. Items go to families directly and the rest to the Cedar Refugee Centre clothing bank, which is open to everyone. Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.
