I coordinate donations at the Lotus Community Church in London. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled. We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes toddler through teen. If you're in London, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Lotus Community Church on Tuesday between 10am and 4pm. If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate. Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Lotus Community Church clothing bank, which is open to everyone. If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

  • Hang in there, Joseph. Hope this works out for you. Put this on a community board in Badagry this morning. God bless.

Wishing you the best. Shared it with a few friends. I have a 11 year old who wants to send good wishes too. Greetings from Abbottabad.

      • Wishing you peace, Joseph. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did.

          • Wishing you the best, Joseph. It takes guts to ask. Well done. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it.

            • Sending good thoughts, Joseph. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes

              • Thanks for sharing this. A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Thinking of London
