Winter coats and boots for 22 children at the Maple Family Centre in Haarlem
A simple way to help: donate warm clothing for kids at the Maple Family Centre.
🇳🇱 Haarlem, North Holland, Netherlands778 views
I coordinate donations at the Maple Family Centre in Haarlem. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes kids' 3 to 5 and women's S-L. If you're in Haarlem, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Maple Family Centre on Thursday between 10am and 4pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Maple Family Centre clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

You're not alone. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double.
Thinking of you, Issa. Your post was clear and honest. It's not much but it's yours. Blessings.
So sorry you're going through this. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. I have a 16 year old who wants to send good wishes too.
wishing you peace, Issa. Hope you get there. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Greetings from Pune.
Keep going. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. After 29 years in engineering I know how hard it's to ask for anything!
Wishing you peace. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. I'll check back for the next update. Love from Gujranwala.
