Winter coats and boots for 22 children at Lotus Refugee Centre in Los Angeles

I coordinate donations at Lotus Refugee Centre in Los Angeles. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled. We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes 4-12. If you're in Los Angeles, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at Lotus Refugee Centre on Thursday between 11am and 3pm. If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate. Items go to families directly and the rest to the Lotus Refugee Centre clothing bank, which is open to everyone. I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.
