Winter coats and boots for 22 children at Cedar Refugee Centre in Nottingham
A simple way to help: donate warm clothing for kids at Cedar Refugee Centre.
🇬🇧 Nottingham, England, United Kingdom1,425 views
I coordinate donations at Cedar Refugee Centre in Nottingham. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes toddler through teen. If you're in Nottingham, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at Cedar Refugee Centre on Thursday between 9am and 2pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the Cedar Refugee Centre clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
Thank you for reading my story.

Hang in there. This could happen to any of us. My neighbor in Jakarta donated after I showed her your page. God bless
Good luck. Looking forward to the next update. Love from Guarulhos.
shared this with my family. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Greetings from Parramatta.
wishing you the best, Andrew. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Greetings from Guarulhos
Good luck. Shared this with my family. My sister had a similar thing happen so this one hit home.
hope it all works out, Andrew. Gave what I could, wish it was more. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Take care.
You're not alone, Andrew. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Love from Hubballi.
Wishing you peace. A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon. After 22 years in public service I know how hard it's to ask for anything
Sending love. Gave what I could, wish it was more. We're a small family in Los Angeles but we're thinking of you
Hang in there, Andrew. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. Love from Cox's Bazar.
